LIS MEDIA Society

Overview

I founded the Media Society to create a welcoming space for creatives to network, collaborate, and support each other’s projects. We aim to bring together students from different backgrounds who are passionate about media, art, and creative expression.

Currently, we’re working on launching a student creative zine—an independent publication showcasing our members’ work and ideas.

Approach

So far, we’ve hosted a range of events to inspire and connect our members, including a game show night, a Night Café evening, and helping to organise both a Christmas game show and an end-of-term celebration. We actively promote other student society events and have run hands-on workshops covering photography, collage, and mixed media techniques.
